Lessn allows you to update key business information to ensure your records are accurate. If your business details change, such as a new trading name or a different business type, you can update them directly within Lessn.
Edit Business Details
Go to Businesses in Lessn.
Select the business you want to edit.
Click Manage.
Navigate to the Business Details tab.
Click Edit Details.
Update any of the following fields as needed:
Legal Name
Registered for GST
Trading Name
Business Type
Click Save to apply the changes.
Keeping Business Information Up to Date
Maintaining accurate business details ensures your bills, payments, and tax information remain correct in Lessn. Any updates made will be reflected in your Lessn account but will not sync back to your accounting software, so ensure any necessary changes are also updated in Xero or MYOB if required.
