If you're looking to remove a credit card or payment method from your Lessn account, you can do this from your account settings.
However, there’s an important restriction to keep in mind:
You cannot delete a card while it's still public in any business. This is to prevent any scheduled or in-progress bill payments from being disrupted. If the card is public anywhere, switch it to private first.
Removing a payment method from your Lessn account is not the same as making it private.
If you simply want to stop a card from being used for a specific business—without deleting it from your account—follow this guide.
Remove a Credit Card
Click the account icon in the upper-right corner of Lessn and click on your email address to access your account settings.
Under the Cards section, click into the card you want to remove.
On the card's detail page, check the Associated Businesses section. If any business shows Public, click its tag and switch it to Private in the Who can use this card? window before continuing.
Once every business is Private, click Delete.
Confirm you want to remove the card by clicking Yes.
Stay in Control of Your Payment Methods
Keeping your saved payment methods up to date helps reduce payment issues and gives you better control over how bills are paid. You can add, remove, or update cards at any time—just make sure they’re private everywhere and aren't linked to a split payment processing payments.
