Add a recipient in Lessn

Adding a recipient allows you to make payments directly in Lessn, even if they’re not in your connected accounting app. This is especially useful for simple payments, where you don’t need a bill or integration to pay someone.

Add a new recipient

To add a recipient to your Lessn account, go to Suppliers and click Create new recipient.

You can also do this by going to Manage Payments → Suppliers & Recipients.

Then, enter the recipient’s ABN, Contact Email, BSB and Account Number.

Select which business in your account this recipient should be associated with, then click Save. You’ll be prompted to verify the bank details you've entered before you can make a payment to the recipient. This helps ensure everything is accurate and prevents payment errors.

Once saved, this recipient will be available to use when making simple payments.

Make payments without a bill

With your recipient added, you can now send payments without needing to upload or sync a bill.
