Bills not appearing in Lessn

Updated over 4 months ago

Lessn automatically pulls in bills from your connected accounting platform to make payments easier. But if you’re not seeing a particular bill, it likely means some key information is missing or needs to be adjusted. Here's how to check what's going on and get it sorted quickly.

Make sure the bill is ready to sync

Lessn only pulls in bills that are complete and marked as ready to pay. Double-check that your bill has:

  • A reference number

  • A linked supplier

  • A due date

  • An amount

  • A status of “approved” or “ready to pay”

If any of these are missing, update the bill in your accounting software. Lessn will try syncing it again shortly.

Check the supplier contact

If the supplier on the bill hasn’t been imported into Lessn or is marked as a duplicate in your accounting platform, the bill won’t come through.

To resolve this:

  • Update the bill to use a supplier that’s already imported

  • Or import the missing supplier manually from the Import Suppliers page in Lessn

Check the bill date

Lessn will only sync bills that were issued in the last 6 months. Older bills are skipped to keep things tidy.

If you need to bring in an older bill, contact Lessn support via the chat bubble and we’ll help you process it.

Manually refresh the sync

Sometimes a quick refresh is all you need:

  • In MYOB, click Refresh Bills on your Lessn dashboard

  • In Xero, scroll to the bottom of the Bills table and click Refresh

Still not showing?

If you've confirmed the details above and the bill still isn't appearing, reach out to us via the chat bubble. We’ll look into it for you and help get things back on track.

Lessn keeps your payments clean and simple by only pulling in what’s ready, so once the bill is set up correctly, it’ll be ready to pay in just a few clicks.
