You don’t need to connect an accounting platform or have a bill to make a payment in Lessn. With Simple Payments, you can send a payment to any recipient directly
Simple Payments is ideal if:
You're not using Xero or MYOB
You want to pay someone who isn’t yet a supplier in your account
You need to make a direct payment without a bill
Add a recipient
Before making a payment, you’ll need to add the recipient's details. This includes their ABN and bank account.
If you’ve connected Xero or MYOB, you can also send simple payments to your synced suppliers.
Create a Simple Payment
Once your recipient is ready:
Go to Scheduled Payments and click New simple payment.
Select the business, choose the recipient, enter the amount and payment reference, then pick a payment date to pay now or schedule it for later.
Then, click Continue.
Complete the payment
After filling in the details, the process is the same as paying a bill in Lessn. Choose a payment method, confirm the payment, and you're done.
